Narrowcast Networks

Narrowcasting is used for marketing, advertising, and corporate communications. It is the process through which digital media is transmitted to a wide variety of display devices.

The table below presents digital signage companies and our technology partners. We identify the role each company plays within our digital signage systems.
Supplier Role
Wi-Fi Devices

Wi-Fi devices are used to distribute content from the media player to a set of screens all running identical content. In the case of our c-store networks, content is sent from within the store to all the screens at the gas islands simultaneously.
Digital Signage PC

In the event that PC's are required for your network, we have in place an agreement with Dell to provide hardened devices that are secure and remotely manageable. Both Linux and Windows embedded can be installed.
Digital Signage Hardware and Software

Helius has a complete product line and as a division of Hughes is one of the largest providers in the industry. Helius solutions are open source and normally are installed at the corporation's data center.
Cellular Connectivity

These products are used to log into the cellular network and provide IP connectivity to media players. The devices can be used in both fixed and mobile digital signage applications.
Hardware and Software

The award winning Digital Sign in a Box is also a great product to use for mobile digital signage applications. The hardware is fully integrated with cellular connectivity, a media player, and a digital sign in a single enclosure. Media tile offers a broadcast portal service that you would use to operate your narrowcast network.
3G Cellular Service Provider

3G Cellular services are rapidly becoming the standard for providing IP connectivity to narrowcast networks.
